Happy Monday, travelers!
I came across this post from Sea Salt Secrets and thought it was so cute, I had to do it myself. Hopefully, this helps lighten your mood on this [chilly] Monday. Going down memory lane can be fun! I'd encourage you all to participate too.
A: Age you went on your first international trip: I've been to Canada when I was younger, but I don't really count it until I was 25, in March 2015.
B: Best foreign beer you’ve had and where: This is hard, after all, I did go to Europe for 40 days this summer. My favorite was probably Hoegaarden Rose because of the name (I'm childish), it was pink, and delicious! I have tried finding it in the States and have been extremely unsuccessful.
C: Cuisine [favorite]: Toss up between Italian, Indian, or Cajun.
D: Destinations: Favorite- My heart is everywhere! I loved Barcelona, Lisbon, Toronto, and Cartagena. I like everywhere though. lol
Least Favorite- I would say Brussels. I made the most out of my experience but I'm not dying to go back, unless bae summoned me.
E: Experience that made you say wow: Making it through being alone in Europe for 40 days! That was crazy and the time of my life.
F: Favorite mode of transportation: TRAIN! I get to kick back, relax, enjoy the scenery, and have a cocktail or two.
G: Greatest Feeling While Traveling: Hands down, LIBERATION. After every trip I feel like a lioness that can take over the world.
H: Hottest place you’ve ever traveled to: Italy was OUT. OF. CONTROL. due to the lack of air conditioning! Cartagena was pretty intense too.
I: Incredible service you’ve experienced: The Virgin Islands. They called me "my sister" constantly and other tourists would frequently comment that they loved me there.
J: Journey that took the longest: Hmm...that overnight bus from Amsterdam to Berlin was brutal because the people would NOT shut up.

K: Keepsake from your travels: I love my pictures. I don't usually buy much, but between my journaling and photos, I can always revert back to those memories.
L: Let-down sight, where & why: Hmm.. Brussels. I didn't see all of the flowers I was expecting to see.
M: Moment when you fell in love with travel: I don't remember when I didn't love it. Whether it was a road trip, a train ride, or a flight, I've always loved being on the go since I was a little girl.
N: Nicest hotel you’ve stayed at: Me + hotels doesn't happen often, lol. I would say that I absolutely loved The Adolphus Hotel in DFW when I took a staycation and wouldn't mind doing it again sometime soon.

O: Obsession- what do you take photos of while traveling: Street art! My favorite.
P: Passport stamps- how many & from where: You know, I've actually never counted my stamps. I've noticed customs in different countries is becoming extremely relaxed with the stamping process. I spent almost two months in Europe and I think I only collected 4 stamps. OVER IT! But, for the count, I am currently at 16 out of my quest for 30 countries.
Q: Quirkiest attraction you've visited and where: Camden Market in London. Definitely, alternative.
R: Really frightening- a place where you felt unsafe or uneasy: You all already know where I'm going to say... but for those of you who haven't been following along, it was Berlin. I had fun there but I'm not sure if I would go back by myself just yet.
S: Splurge- something you have no problem spending on while traveling: Champagne. Kidding. Maybe not. I'll drop a lot of money for an experience that I've never done before or to get on a boat. I've been obsessed with boat experiences lately. It is what it is.
T: Touristy thing you’ve done: Took a selfie outside of Le Louvre in Paris! I had to do it.
U: Unforgettable Travel Memory: Seeing the Eiffel Tower, crying about it, and then watching France win a Euro match there and having the best celebration in the streets. You can't pay for that experience.
V: Visas- how many and for where: None yet!
W: Wine- Best taste of wine while traveling and where?: Porto! They make port wine there. It was strong, sweet, and 2 euros a bottle. Yes. Please.
X: eXcellent view: So many! My favorite view is flying during a sunset and seeing the clouds in various colors. I also loved the view of being on top of a hill in Florence, Italy. That was truly a beautiful city.
Y: Years Spent Traveling: 27? Internationally, 1.5.
Z: Zealous sports fans and where: I am a PROUD Dallas Cowboys football fan and I'll leave it at that. ;-)
